  • Python for Cybersecurity – Beginner to Medium Level

Course Description:

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of Python programming language in the context of cybersecurity. The course will cover Python programming concepts such as data types, variables, conditional statements, loops, functions, and file I/O. Students will learn how to apply these concepts to solve cybersecurity-related problems, such as encryption and decryption, network scanning, malware analysis, and data analysis.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:

  • Understand the basics of Python programming language

  • Apply Python programming concepts to solve cybersecurity problems

  • Understand and use libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Scikit-learn for data analysis

  • Perform network scanning and vulnerability assessments using Python

  • Analyze and reverse engineer malware using Python
